We believe the artists behind the stories, songs, and meditations deserve to share in the value their work brings to families. A significant portion of the revenue we generate — from app subscriptions, licensing, book sales, KidTech and educational partnerships — is allocated to our artist royalty pool and distributed based on how often their content is listened to.
When you subscribe, you’re not just getting access to content — you’re supporting the storytellers, musicians, and guides bringing more imagination, wonder, and heart to childhood.

We are building an empowering, inspiring ecosystem that pays artists well to make inspiring art for the kids.Â
We want you to do what you do best – make inspiring, imaginative, educational meditations for kids!
Compensation
If we choose your meditations for our app, we will pay you a one-time signing bonus of $50 up front for the non-exclusive licensing rights.Â
You will then earn royalties on plays inside the app. The more plays you get, the more $ you make.
Submit Your Meditations
We are still a small team, so please be patient with us as we listen to the submitted meditations. It may take us up to 30-60 days to get back to you. So breathe, enjoy life & record another imagination meditation while you wait.
We promise to never share, sell or distribute your meditations until we have a written agreement.
If we love your meditations, we’ll send you a contract! Once the content goes live on the app, you will earn on every play. Note: You must produce your meditation track at a professional quality — good mic, good sound. That cost is up to you.

As a company, Majik Kids is committed to platforming Majik Artists, and are not looking to showcase AI generated content. We are a Fair Pay Publishing and licensing platform and a big part of that vision is ensuring Artists are paid fairly and work is not taken away from talented humans who are able to create all of the Majik Kids content we share with our audience.
We don’t accept AI generated art because we value the creativity and integrity of our Majik Artists and want to uphold the beauty of human generated stories, music & meditations.
We need all meditations to be professionally produced. So, if you are on Salt Spring Island, BC, we can explore potentially bringing you into our studio to produce your track. Otherwise, it’s up to you to get it done! We’ll bring on incredible illustrators to bring your meditation to life.Â
The Majik Kids app costs $7.99 CAD/month for families, giving them access to a growing library of stories, music, and meditations, along with a parent and educator portal.
A significant portion of subscription revenue is allocated to an artist royalty pool (after administration and platform costs). Royalties are calculated using a per-play model. A play is counted when a listener completes at least 50% of a track. Stories, songs, and meditations are all counted equally.
Every six months, we total the number of plays across the platform and distribute the artist royalty pool among the contributing artists based on each track’s share of total plays during that period.
In addition to app royalties, Majik Kids actively pursues licensing opportunities, educational partnerships, and other distribution deals that can generate additional revenue for participating artists.
