Majik Kids App Terms of Service
Welcome to the Majik Kids App, developed by Majik Media Inc.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to follow these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
Definitions
- “User” refers to anyone who downloads, installs, or uses the App.
- “Content” includes text, images, videos, audio, and other media available in the App.
License
As long as you follow these Terms, Majik Media Inc. grants you a limited, non-transferable license to download, install, and use the App for personal, non-commercial use.
User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for illegal or deceptive purposes.
- Copy, modify, or create new versions of the App or its Content.
- Interfere with the App’s functioning or infrastructure.
- Attempt to access the App or its systems without permission.
Intellectual Property Rights
Majik Media Inc. and its licensors own the App, including its Content and intellectual property. You can’t reproduce, distribute, or make derivatives of the App or Content without written permission.
Basic (Free) Service
A limited number of Audio Stories, Songs, Meditations and other types of content will be made available to free users of the App. Unlocking additional content will require registering for the subscription service.
Subscription Service and Billing
Subscribed users will have complete access to all app content. By agreeing to subscribe to the Majik Kids App, you agree to pay the periodic (monthly or annual) subscription fee displayed within the App at the time of checkout. Subscribed users are also required to agree to the terms and conditions of the specific payment method chosen to subscribe through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. All subscribed users will be automatically charged the subscription fees on a monthly or yearly basis by Apple or Google. Majik Media Inc. may change this subscription fee schedule at any time, at its own discretion. If you do not agree to this price change, you may cancel your subscription from the respective store. Your continued use of the Majik Kids App after the notice of change in fees constitutes your agreement to the new fees.
Billing Disputes
Apple App Store:
Apple takes care of all billing through the App Store and we do not store your credit card information. Any billing disputes or queries can be submitted to Apple’s App Store at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ or email us for any issues at ellie@majikkids.com.
Google Play:
Google Play takes care of all billing and we do not store your credit card information. Google provides a portal to issue refunds as needed. For refund or cancellation requests, please email us at ellie@majikkids.com. In your email to us, please provide the order id that you are disputing. We will evaluate claims and issue decisions based on our discretion.
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” Majik Media Inc. doesn’t guarantee that the App will always work perfectly, without interruptions, or be completely secure.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Majik Media Inc. is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages related to using the App, even if you were warned about the possibility.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, regardless of conflict of laws principles.
Modifications
Majik Media Inc. can change these Terms at any time. By continuing to use the App, you accept the updated Terms.
