Majik Kids is the first ever Fair Pay Publishing company.
We believe artists should share in the value their work brings to families. A significant portion of revenue generated (App Subscriptions, Licensing, Education + KidTech Partnerships, and Book Sales) is allocated to our artist royalty pool and distributed based on plays across the platform during each royalty period.Â

We are here to Raise the Spiritometer on Planet Earth by Spreading Joy to the World! Our mission is to curate content that is healthy for kids’ minds, hearts, and imaginations by supporting their curiosity, growth & development.
Majik Kids publishes imagination-inspiring audio experiences for children, including stories, songs, and guided meditations. Our goal is to support children’s creativity, emotional wellbeing, and curiosity through screen-free listening.
Artist compensation varies by role. Please visit the specific contributor pages for details for: story authors, meditation guides, musicians, voice actors and illustrators.
Artists earn revenue through app streaming royalties, licensing deals, book sales, and educational & KidTech partnerships. App royalties use a per-play model (a play counts after 50% of a track is listened to), and a large portion of the revenue is distributed to artists every six months based on total plays.
Families subscribe to the Majik Kids app for $7.99 CAD/month. A significant portion of subscription revenue is allocated to an artist royalty pool (after admin and platform costs).
Artists earn royalties through a per-play model. A play is counted when 50% or more of a track is listened to. The royalty pool is distributed every six months based on each track’s share of total plays.
As a company Majik Kids is committed to platforming Majik Artists, and are not looking to showcase AI generated content. We are a Fair Pay Publishing and licensing platform and a big part of that vision is ensuring Artists are paid fairly and work is not taken away from talented humans who are able to create all of the Majik Kids content we share with our audience.
We don’t accept AI generated art because we value the creativity and integrity of our Majik Artists and want to uphold the beauty of human generated stories, music & meditations.
